Swedish employment and labor law, 2 parts
The intention of this course is to provide you with the basics of the Swedish employment and labour law. The participants will be given guidance on how to handle the legislation and the regulations in the collective bargaining agreements in practice. We will take you through the different processes from hiring to firing and learn you why, when and how to inform and consult/negotiate with the trade unions. We will also go through the Discrimination act, working environment and the different types of right to leave.

Course content
– The process of hiring, including the different employment forms
– The employer´s obligation to consult/negotiate with the trade unions
– The discrimination acts
– The process of termination of employments (individual terminations as well as redundancies)
– Working environment
– The employee´s different right to leave of absence (parental leave, study leave and annual leave etc.)
Target audience
The course is intended for Managers, HR specialists, and others who work with employment matters, in need of basic knowledge of the Swedish employment and labour law.
The course is given at a basic level and no specific prior knowledge is required.

The course is divided in two (2) parts and to complete the course in full you will attend both parts.
Please note that part 2 of this course is extended with 30 minutes.
